Still able to lock helmet with Targa seat cowl?

       I was thinking about buying the Targa seat cowl but I always wondered if you were still able to lock your helmet to it?

im gonna say more than likely YES. a buddy of mine has a RR w/..........idk what brand seat cowl....but he can still lock his helmet under there.
 
that is the ONLY DAMN THING i dont like about my seat cowl. it doesnt NOT allow me to lock my helmet. i am unsure what brand seat cowl i have though.

if you can't lock your helmet i would save your money.

I am willing to bet that if you cant lock your helmet, it would be just a simple mod to the cowl to do so.  all you would need is about 1/8" on either side shaved off of the cowl. 

How do u lock your helmet, first bike so I am a newb

Nevermind I just did a search, I don't see why that would be interfered with a cowl

the reason this could be an issue is because the helmet strap that hooks on under the seat uses the gap that is between the seat and the tail section.  all the pics of the cowl show it to be a snug fit to the tail section. 

Yes you can still use your helmet hanger, but you cannot install the cowl pin locks (not shown). I found that they are too close to the helmet hooks and prevent you from hanging them so I took them off. The cowl will still lock in place and wont move around while riding. I taped it down only when doing track days, especially at super fast Road America.
