Well the parts came in today and I couldn't wait...
Not bad work for one thumb stuck in a cast

I got the new one on, I just need to fab a sleeve for the caliper bracket at work tomorrow and buy a bolt and it should be back on the ground

Of course with the thumb I won't be able to ride it for another few months

And here is a few homemade tools

Honda wants a pretty penny for a tool just like the one below, I cut my own out of a 1-1/8" socket

Below that is my 12mm allen wrench (bolt with a 12mm head to stick in the hole with 2 jamb nuts to twist it out) and a gigantic allen wrench made from a SST Lugnut and a pair of vicegrips..

All the tools worked GREAT

now i may have missed something, but is that a RC51, or a 954 swingarm, whats needed for the correct fit,( am a fitter and turner by trade)... also congrats on a great work space aswell.... what i wouldnt give for a half decent workshop.... man you might want to write up a 'HOW TO' for this conversion.... BTW did you kno that GSXR1000('02) 6spot calipers fit the F4i forks.... ... keep us up to date... peace

I didn't even think to measure..

I still need to set the sag, so I'm not even sure it's sittting at ride height right now.

Once my hand is out of the cast and I rehab my thumb, I'lll look into the shock settings.
