Nauree.....you like the tax post, haha!

well, im still waiting on my w2. but the govt. raped me all year so i should be making out pretty well this year. im expecting $2k at the LEAST. i plan on stocking up on stuff for the bike........2 sets of tires, a clutch, a set of brake pads, exhaust for my truck (getting a hole in it), brakes/rotors for my truck.

i'd rather stock up on some stuff i'll NEED for the bike, rather then blow it all on useless stuff. whatever's left i'll hopefully toss into savings or put towards my bike.

As the wise old owl here.....I'm going to play financial advisor for a bit. If your getting that much money back...all your doing is giving the F*****G IRS an interest free loan. Your money isnt working for you....I suggest a look at your withholdings and see if you can do better. You would be amazed how much more money you can make by at least parking that money in a CD or SOMETHING. Stop giving your money to the crooks in washington d.c....so that they can "give it back" to you. What a load of S**T

Now that I've ended up my anti-tax rant...go get some cool parts and post pics...we all love the mods!

The last few years.

3: gained $300
4: gained $900

Do you have to include student loans in your income tax?

+1 ... the best thing you can do is break even or pay a little bit... getting money back is a BAD THING!

yea i would rather get more every week or two weeks then wait till end of year and get this large sum which people usually blow or pay of debts that they woudln't pay because they didn't have enough every week/month

I just claim 0 so they take the most out and I see if I can live off of that.    Since you dont know what you'll owe/get back I just do 0.   I dont want to do 2 or 3 and then have to owe back thousands all at once.

+1 on the "don't give the gov't an interest-free loan."
I did my wife's taxes last night, and she's getting back $1479. I scolded her because she hasn't changed her marital status to "M" on her W-4.
I'm still waiting on my W-2 and my mortgage interest forms, so I haven't done mine yet. I'll probably end up getting a few dollars back because we file married-separately. All monies will be going toward my RX8 turbo project!!

So you got mad at your wife for not checking the Married box or because she's getting money back?

Woot

My Federal Refund = $0
My State Refund = $28

God I dont make enough money. I'm not even required to file federal taxes.
