I just picked up a '90 Honda CB-1 for my girlfriend and the carbs are WAY out of sync The local shops are probably gonna want $30-$50 to sync the carbs (haven't called yet, just guessing) but I've seen some carb sync tools on Ebay for as little as $60 plus shipping and then I've seen others for $100 or more. I've also seen the dial type gauges as well as mercury-filled gauges.
I have enough bikes that I'd certainly get enough use out of a carb sync tool to justify buying one. I'm looking for comments and recommendations from any of you guys who have used or own carb sync tools. What kind of tool do you have, where did you get it from, what did it cost, and do you like it/think it does a good job?
Thanks!

Ahh, thanks for the link. I'd found the Carbtune one while browsing Google but figured I'd like to get some third-party opinions before dropping $100 on the sync tool.

Get'n it done for how much????... good luck!!! I use typical merc / stick type, cheap and work great.
I invested in a mac tools carb adj. tool, it has cut down frustration at reaching sync screws on many bikes.Clean and free, Ripp'n
