So I have seen this done many times before; people spray painting their windshields on the inside to make it match the bikes color. Thought I give it a try, went to Canadian tire and picked up a can of spray paint thats made for plastic and went for it. I cleaned it first then applied a coat of paint. Man did it ever look nice form the outside, So I thought I let it dry for 30 minutes or so and apply another coat. I went to the basement to do it again and you will never guess what happened!!!! The freaken paint melted my windshield!!!!! Its ruined. unrepairable. I took it to CDN Tire and showed the manager what the paint did and he was like "you need to use paint thats ment for plastic" I told him to look at the can and to his surprise it was for plastic. "That shouldnt of happened"he said, NO SHIT!!!! So he refunded my money for the paint ($8.00) and totold me when I get a new part to replace it they will pay for the cost of it ($99.00) Black Chrome Sportech windshield. What a shitty day, Just thought I would share that with you.

sweet deal.... thanks for the warning. I use my wind screen from time to time, yes I do tuck in that tight. And it's good to see true customer service.

At least the guy was forthcoming with the loot. You could have been stuck with some stingy idiot that didn't want to please the customer!
