Where do you adjust the ammout of slack in the throttle. Right now There is a lot of play inbetween the throttle in netural position, and the point where it engages and begins accleration.

no clue but id love to know i got about 1/4'' of play in mine

It's the cable coming out of the grips with the adjustable long nut on it... adjust that nut to change slack. Check service manual at stephygee.com
