Got pulled over on the interstate. The cop said I was speeding and cut people off when I came down the on ramp. I didn't cut anyone off, but I didn't argue with him about it. I was polite and gave him respect. He took my license and went back to his car. Thought I was getting a ticket for sure. He came back, handed me my license and said: these things make you do crazy stuff sometimes, slow down.
I was speeding, but I don't think he was able to shoot me with his laser gun because of traffic, and then I spotted him coming up behind me.

i have never gotton a warning in my life - always a ticket. thank god for defensive driving (and deferred abjudication) - nothing on my record. was lucky today: came out of a 35mph corner going about 60 and saw a cop coming toward me in the distance. hit the brakes as soon as i saw him and just gave him a friendly wave as i passed by. whew!

Got a WARNING

for 78 in a 35, rolling the stop, reckless endangerment, and drag racing.
I was by myself, but in Mississippi if you take off from a stop too fast it’s considered drag racing, but what the hell I wasn’t going to argue. I got off with a WARNING…
I forgot to tell you I’m active duty military

and the COP that pulled me over was retired military!

I got pulled for doing something like 80 in a 40. It was like a 2 to 3 hun. dollar ticket. This was while my husband was in North Carolina, I showed up to court with his dog tag aroung my neck. The jugde took one look at the tag and dropped the fine down to 25 bucks told me to slow down and to thank my husband for a job well done. It was after the war.

He bitches about that one all the time, to this day I still can't beleave the judge did that.

GOt a ticket from a Wisconsin state trooper for 125 in a 65....$500. The guy paced me for about 10 miles before he caught me as i got off the freeway. never saw him back there. He said he estimated my speed at almost 150 because he was doing 125 and i was still pulling away with some speed.....still dont know about how the court will deal with me...still working on it.

As Seabee indicated,
Mississippi is a bit anal about things with two wheels only plus a motor... Had a ticket plus 3 warnings on the CBR900 back in the day. Nothing yet on the 1000RR yet - wood knock... But I did get some serious looks from 3 local police cars and a pair of motorcycle cops this morning who surrounded me to the rear of my 3 and 9 line (look at your watch) at a stop light. Needless to say I sprinted away initially without raising the front or breaking ground on the rear to the 55mph marker and about 5 seconds later they ALL came up and passed me to my right to prove a point I guess. Not too smart, but they knew it was safely done and I was from the local Guard base in my flight suit with proper protection gear... They (the man) tend to be a little more slack on us fortunately for me.
Day before yesterday I had a MS HWY Patrol car pull up at the oil change shop while I was visiting a friend. Turned out he just wanted to get a look at the bike with his admiring comments... or getting a mental picture on who I was when he pulls me over in the future!
So far so good and we have several of these guys employed with our unit who fly with me so that doesn't hurt one bit when getting tickets worked if possible. Otherwise I keep the limiter on until I reach the outer areas to ride... then it's 3/4 throttle minimum all the way. Damn this thing is nice....

thankfully i have only been pulled over once on my bike. 135 on a back country road. the local sherrif caught up with me at a ma a pop shop getting smokes. can't really call it pulled over though. he took me outside and asked how fast i was going and then asked where he could pick one up. he wanted a sport bike so bad claiming he was a harley rider. i actually let him ride it up and down the road for about 30 minutes while i played with the lights and sirens in his squad car. now i go as fast as i want in that town and all i get is a wave and if i can get my arm up i wave back. it does help i am military and i'm not a city slicker out in the country causing problems. thank god i'm a country boy.

Pulled over and ticketed once on my bike. The highway...nailed for 85 in a 65...cop was in the other lane too, had to cross the median! He snuck up and bagged us....Hell the cars around us were doing the same speed.....he must have hated bikes. At least thats what my buddy asked him, asked him if "his mother never let him have his own?" lol Maybe thats why the tickets came out? I guess it was worth seeing his face!
