it was my first trackday and i was draggin knee on the first session! what a crazy feeling it is i must say. feels so smooth. i rented the leathers so all they had were the damn ugly suzuki leathers. kinda sucked but oh well. went down once and they did their job. i was havin too much fun to care really. the track we were on was a pretty technical track and not a whole lot of places to get around folks unless u really rip the throttle open

Do you use your clutch while shifting on straight aways? It sounds like it. Much quicker and more effective to just let off the gas for an instant and shift at the same time.
Looks like a blast, though. I can't wait to do one.

And I'm no pro, but I think your form could be a bit better. For instance:
http://img2.putfile.com/main/11/32912271378.jpg 1) It looks like you're staring at the guy in front of you. Your face should be way to your left staring far into the turn at that point. Also if you hang your body weight over more, as well as continue pushing your knee down, you'll be able to take the corners faster.

i thought my form was pretty good i wasn't looking at the guy in front of me. i could've got my head and upper body out a bit more. that was my first or 2nd time out on the track too. i got better as the day went on.

i went off line a lil bit on a high speed 35 degree corner and the front end got loose so i just slowed down and made my way off the track toward the infield and soon as i hit the dirt the bike went down. the right side is scuffed but i picked the bike up and rode all the rest of the day. hers a pic with the damage

Yeah it seems your form did get better. Your upper body could be lower, though. You want to drop the center of gravity as much as possible. "Tits to tank" some of my friends say. If your head is near where the mirror is, you're good.
