I grew up going to a Southern Baptist church. THAT CRAP that she is saying is NOT in ANY way what we believe or support. I have NEVER been so insulted or speechless from seeing anything in my life. That family is using a religion as a front for their own SICK and TWISTED views. I personsally feel sorry for the fact that SHE and HER family are going to hell because a true Christian is not like that. I hope that NONE of you on this site will turn away from God and the true meaning of Christianity because of this SICK AND TWISTED NUTCASE!!!

I know i'm not the only guy here in the military, so i am sure I can say this and some others will understand. We do what we do so that idiots like that woman can believe and say the things they do without persecution. The soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen's lives were lost in some sandhole of a country thousands of miles away...far from the inocent eyes of that woman's children and family...so that she could leave that protest in her SUV, head on to the local dairy queen with her church, and then go to a year long showing of "The passion of the Christ".......And all the while she doesn't have to worry about a car bomb, or a tank shell tearing her home and family apart in the middle of the night.

We also defend the rights of anybody with enough pride and respect to stand in front of them with american flags in silence so that mother's, wife's and children can mourn the loss of their father's and son's without wondering why their young men and women had to die to defend those useless individuals.

As a Christian and family of a veteran... I am utterly digusted by her.

She misrepresents religiona nd the Bible in every way, and COMPLETELY direspects those fallen in war and terrorist attacks.

I can't believe people can really be that twisted and confused.

I agree there is not a suitable form of punishment/torture that would even come close to what this women and her church deserves!!

This lady is confused. She is deranged. But killing her or dismembering her will solve nothing.

War has never solved much, but we have not progressed to a race of people that engage in value creating dialoge. Instead we try to kill each other. In a few thousand years, if we are still here I'm sure it will get better.

i have to go to a funeral of a friend who died in iraq, he was only 19 and his tank took gunfire collapsing the bridge under him cuasing the tank to flip over, and thus he drowned. i grew up with him and he and I always hung out from elementary to the day he left to iraq. i havn't see him much since he joined the army right after we graduated in 2004.

anyways, If i see anyone with a sign tomorrow at his funeral that says anything like what i saw in that video you can damn well bet I'm gonna make someones face look like mashed potatoes by the time im done with em.

I understadn how you feel but that act of violence will not solve anything except put you in jail. Instead why not educate the youth of this country to repsect those that have to go to war and give them the prayers they need to go home.

i watched the first few seconds of that clip and my roommate shut it down for me cuz i was ready to totally thrash my laptop to get that shit off my screen. then he told me about the patriot guards. i joined and learned about one in my area. needless to say i will be there with the PGR on tuesday. it's all i can do. cuz i'm not going to jail for killing these protesting retards like i should.

Hey, just wante to point out a bit of what hannity said in that interview!
he made a point to say taht their church has been disowned by the greater baptist church, and has no afilliation, connection or correspondence with any major denomination. these guys are out there operating on their own.
And being a soldier, yes, i believe in freedom of speech for all americans, but to me, that also includes a fist in the face as an expression.
Also, being a Christian, I can definitively say that she is way off her rocker. God is love! He'd much rather hear someone say they're sorry than to see someone pay for everything they've done wrong! This woman has no concept of who God really is.
I'm led to believe, from that interview and from posts here about the church being largely a group of lawyers, that its a sick ploy to get rich by inciting people to assault, sueing them, nad never working again.
But, yeah, bitch needs to be hung by her toenails. freedom of speech, right?

Yes, this woman's comments are disgusting. But she is not alone. She is just a single member of a movement inspired by organizations like this one. They are the real cause of this type of protest.

As a soldier I took an oath to protect and uphold the constitution of the United States against any and all enemies foreign or domestic. As I was medically retired from the military due to career ending injuries, as a disabled vet they are not the only one that are attacking military families. I was hired into a prestigious fortune 500 company (in the top 5) after working as a contractor doing the exact job as I was permanently hired in for, when they found out I was a disabled vet and the extent of my injuries I was terminated. I currently have obtained legal counsel and am attacking back.

These things happen to good service members/former service members every single day! I have met ppl such as myself that have been shunned in many instances for representing this country only to be crapped on in the civilian sector. So my $70K+/yr job that was terminated for my disability, has turned into $341 a week in unemployment. Luckily I have everything documented. Employers are scandalous!


I guess the moral of my story is citizens are somewhat oblivious to what disabled vets go through upon returning to the civilian world. Ive come a long way since I was injured 3 years ago... And Im one of the lucky ones! I still have all my body parts, and Im still alive! If you are inservice stay safe and healthy! If you arent just think about being healthy, getting injured defending freedom and getting screwed coming back home!

My apologies if I bummed anyone out but the attacks this church group represent are more far reaching than just their 100 members, it reaches into capitalism and the all mighty dollar, and our family and friends are affected in every which way you can imagine!

Now i don't condone what she's saying, nor support it.

What Im kind of suprised at is that law passed is for only 500' away for protesting....(unless i misunderstood) you would think it should be far enough where it were at least out of sight where a person can be burried in peace, soldier or not, no one or thier families deserves that on a funeral day. In my eyes, what her and her group does is 100x worse than pissing on a flag and lighting it up in protest and should be treated as such...and then some. Also, statisticly...if she has 80 family members in her group...a good number of them probably have homosexual tendancys as well...statisticly.
