if you have an 04/05, buy a set of 06/07 velocity stacks. this is the upgrade. and only about 45.00. i have them in my 04, as well as a shit load of other mods.

baxom, show me back to back dyno results proving you need to blend them. i have them on my bike, not blended. there is but a few mm of overlap, if even that much.
many on .net have them and not blended. only 1 or 2 ppl have blended them.

i realize that a lot of people on .net have not blended them in
i also realize that the people who have said that they got better performance once they did.
since i already have an 06 bike i cant prove one way or another personally but the people who say performance increase once blended have forgotten more about bike performance than i will ever learn so i am inclined to trust their opinion.

the velocity stacks are the snorkles that bolt to the tops of the throttle bodies inside the airbox. changing the length of these alters the powerband on the bike
the 04/05 has a different than the 05/06
the 05/06 is the same size and shape as the HRC stacks for well over 500 bucks
(just like the 06/07 rear shock link is the 600 dollar HRC link for the 04/05)
the shape of the 06 stacks where they bolt to the 05 throttle bodies are not a perfect fit. you have to trim a small tip off of them otherwise airflow will be interupted
check the link i posted. it will explain it all
