Well, it's finally happened....I'm gonna be a DAD!

After much waiting to tell people, my wife and I decided to break the news to those outside our family. And of course, I had to share with my extended CBR family!

My wife is pregnant with our first due on Sept. 27th!!!! We have been trying for a little bit and had an initial mishap but all is well now and we are doing good. My wife just finished her first trimester and is about 13.3 weeks along. We've seen the ultrasound and she's heard the heartbeat (pissed i missed that)...

I am incredibly excited. I've wanted to be a dad for awhile now. My wife and I made sure we were doing well, that I finished school, and that we were in the right place in our lives before we tried. Thankfully we did because it only took two tries!!!

So, just had to share my happy news with all you! For all you father's out there, I can't wait! So many wonderful thoughts are swirling in my head for the future!

Anyways, that's all, just had to share!

Enjoy them while they are young, once they hit 2-3 they become little terrors, but they always make up for it.  It's a new experience, enjoy it while it lasts because they grow fast!

Wow thats awesome.  Congrats man.  Having a kid is very rewarding.  You'd be surprised what you learn from them.

For whatever its worth....your life is about to change like you cant believe. And it doesnt matter what I say...nothing can prepare you. Its not bad....just saying, your life will never be the same. Have fun and enjoy being a dad....and keep us updated!!!!!
