i have 300 miles on my bike so at 600 i have a tune up and i was wondering if i should switch from factory oil to synthetic. what do you guys think?

If I had a dollar for every time that question came up on a bike board I'd be rich. If I had a dollar for every pissing contest that came after that I'd rival Bill Gates.
I don't have advanced engineering degrees in oil so I can only tell ya what I do. After 500 miles (sometimes before) I put in Mobil 1 synthetic and change the oil every 3000-3500 miles thereafter. My clutches have never slipped (except with the turbo beast and the oil had little to do with that
) and after 35,000 miles my engine's insides were clean and everything was still within spec.
So there is my humble take on this issue ... maybe no one will get their feelings hurt here
