I sleep between the door and the bed, either on the right side or the left, doesn't matter, just as long as I am betwen my wife and the door. Call it protective or whatever, also pick the room first in the hallway. Lots of weirdos and random crap out there, minimize the odds. Chances are, anyone found in my home at night will be foun d there in the morning.

My big ass dog takes up what little room is left after the girly gets her share. Let's see...120 pounds of dog...mmmkay...120 pounds of female...mmmkay...that leaves about 8.5 inches of sleep space for 160 pounds of me. I think I'm going to come over to Six's house and swipe his goddang couch...

I read something on this once, though I don't remember where. Probably on the john. In medieval times, men would sleep on the left, due to the fact that most being right handed, would better reach their sword should the need arise suddenly in the night.

Well 1st of all I like these threads
I know its a bike forum, but what the hell, once I posted a thread on "Which way do you hang your toilet paper, under or over"? thats why its "Off Topic" I like to think were all one big disfuntional family here, bikes are what brought us together but you can't learn about each other by bike chat alone

To answer your question, it used to be backwards because my one cat liked unwinding it.
As for the sleeping... When I was married I used to sleep on the right side at home and left when away. Have no idea how that occured. Now that I'm alone, sometimes I find myself waking up straight across.
