Whats the gas mileage?

I'm sure this has been asked time and time before but on average how many miles do you all get on a tank of gas right when you hit the reserve?  I'm still fairly new to the f4i so I haven't exactly rode it easy yet but i fill it up and I get maybe 130 140 to a tank.

thats average which evens out to about 35mpgish

I would say that is average also. I get about that by the time the 4th bar starts blinkin. My riding style definatly dictates it most of the time.

i get 95-120mi on a FULL tank of 91...i fill ALLLLLLLLL the way up, but i also get on it a lot...

Yeah, 35ish sounds about right if you get on it... if you want better mileage, be prepared to see 6th gear a lot.

Also, from what I've heard, you get worse mileage with higher octane fuel (91 vs. 87)

On 87 mine pulls a 150 when reserve kicks on..Spirited riding between 110~140 before reserve..

Thanks that does help i thought i should be getting better than that. I was just compareing it to my first bike I had a 250 ninja but under half the size engine with half the cylinders so of course that makes a difference I was use to about 300 to a tank
