The previous owner of my bike had a Dynojet kit with the clips set at the 4 groove from the top and a 98 main jets.  The bike has a K&N filter, and V&H slip on.  I ordered 102 mains from the dealer but looking at the dynojet PDF the mains for the stage 2 are 120s and 124s?  That seems like to much fuel for a K&N and slip on??  I need some advise cause right now, the carbs are torn apart.  THe top end doesn't have the snap it used to with the stock pipe, and it pops around 6500 when letting off the throttle.  What should I do?

Well, stock jets are 105s.. My bike had a stage 2, K&n and Yoshi and the PO had 114s in there. And we're at 5000 feet. In a box with the bike were the leftover 120s and some 98s and the stock 105s.

I don't know what efffect moving the circlip on the needle has, but I would guess that you're running lean. Especially if you're a a low altitude. Try 114s or something and see. 120 is a lot of gas.

yeah, the stage 1 kit, says to run the third notch down and a 102 MJ for an aftermarket exhaust.  It really stinks because these jets have the circle tops and no shop around here carries them. They only carry the hex head ones.

Can anybody else give me their jetting suggestions?

Check out the PDF for your dynojet kit:

And I thought this was an interesting article about jetting. Lots of stuff about altitude and air density, too.
