So, I'm out riding earlier today just a quick trip to the pharmacy.  I decide to not wear a helmet.  I live in Amarillo,Tx.  Our numero uno industry is agriculture.  This includes a hell of a lot of feedlots for cattle.  That means that at any time of day you can find innumerable cattle trucks on the highway.  (see where this is heading?)  At any rate for those who dont know a cattle truck is like a big box with ventilation grates running the whole distance of the trailer.  So i see one of these bad boys ahead of me.  No biggie, I see them all the time.  Most people call them bull haulers.  I and the car in front of myself decide we should pass said bullhauler.  The car in front goes to pass and I follow.  He gets up to fifteen feet or so in front of this truck.  I am stuck beside this truck.  It was at this moment that one of our bovine friends decided to relieve him(or her)self.  Maybe it was the fear of the upcoming death at the processing plant or maybe just nature calling, doesn't matter.  This cow must have been in the front of the trailer.  All the sudden I get a face full of warm, thick and stinky cow piss.  I immediately knew what was happening.  It was all i could do to keep from throwing up the burger i'd had for lunch(talk about irony).  So i slow way down and get behind this truck exit and go home, dejected, sad and alone for a lonely sad shower.  SO kids the moral of the story is always wear your helmet.  C-ya later regurgitator...

Amarillo by morning.    Well I could get there in a couple of hours.   Was up there a few weeks ago.     Everyone has green grass.  Ya'll getting rain or people just watering the hell out of their yards?

I like it when a semi has a blow out.   Makes me feel like I'm in the motorcycle freeway seen in Matrix reloaded.

Good story, at least you can tell the difference between say beer and cow piss now so no fooling you. This is a better way to learn to always wear your helmet than other methods so not to bad.

Iffen I had my "druthers"-
I druther be pissed off...than pissed on.....
Nothin' like the smell of napalm in the mornin'
(except cow pee in my face)
A welcome shower, within the hour
To clean the pee, from bike, and me
And as I sit and ponder, yonder
Rides another, wet, like me !!

How's this ?
ROADRUNNER
The light has come, I scan the sky
The weather clear, the tarmac dry
The road has called, and we must go
To places only we will know….

With rush of wind and angry growl
A low pitched predatory howl
The snick of gears, and brutal drive
We face the road, and come alive

A gentle bend, a lengthy sweep
The tyres are good, the grooves are deep,
She flies and sings the siren song
For here is where we both belong.

For on the edge is where we thrive
And here alone we can despise
The mindless moron changing lanes
Who never fell, and felt the pain.

The taxis blunder, bringing death
And cars which struggle so for breath
To climb the hills we fly with ease
Where we are free and find release.

They cannot know who do not ride
The overwhelming sense of pride
Which comes to those who live so free
Who love to run, like she and me.
