Hi, first time here hello to everyone.  My question is what would be the best wind screen for a cbr 1000rr 06?  I got a puig but it has gaps on the side, does not look good.  Also does anyone know what would be a good color screen for a yellow/blue cbr?  I was thinking yellow, if anyone has a pic of there blue/yellow cbr please post a pic so I can dicide.  Thanks

I had the zero gravity one and I now have the Memphis shades one. I like them both, the MS is a lot taller though, which is great for the highway.

i prefer the blue screen because it would match better with the blue sticker between the headlights. but who nows, i might change my mind when i see the yellow screen

I have a puig and it fits perfect on my '06. Maybe you got a warped/defective screen?

I got the zero gravity light smoke, love it. Kinda noisy right @ 5k but, wind noise covers it up, and it goes away right after 5 k.

Thanks guys, I think I'll check out ZG.  Maybe in yellow, the blue is in the middle but it has more yellow.  I don't know I'll check out both of them.  Thanks alot fellow riders

It's an 04 but i think it uses the same screen as the 06-07, got this off Ebay for like 30 bucks from hong kong, definately an improvement over the stock screen as far as wind protection goes, also it's very dark so it let's you read you gauges better during sunny days and protects them from heat wear. My only concern was that this thing might crack if I hauled ass considering what i paid for it. But i already did my card sound road run , (26 miles almost wide open all the time) and not a crack in sight.

I too am looking for a windscreen that does not seem to be made....  I'm looking for a standard(non double-bubble) windscreen in solid black(non transparent/not dark tint) as I also like BLUE6RR do not care for the racing/double bubble look.  I wouldn't have thought that a standard windscreen in solid black would be such a hard item to find. I do know that Puig makes one but unfortunately(for me anyways)do not sell it in the U.S..

Guess it depends on the bike.% bikes (inlcuding mine ) all have the puig db's and have small gaps.

I got a ZG touring shield (offer i couldnt pass up)..It fits just as good as the stock one did.

Around town i prefer the puig DB(dark smoke) for its looks ,but the ZG touring(light smoke) is way better on the highway .

I have a blue chrome metallic windscreen made by sporttech i believe matches the blue perfect, depending on light angel, but i get tons of compliments from it... came with the trim on top so you dont scuff your visor.... downside is you cant see through it!
also was hard to find and took a month and a half to get was on "backorder"

yeah, but that windscreen was well worth it though, do you mind if i ask you where you ordered it from. I'm looking to get the same thing for my bike, but in the mirrored finish because my bike is silver.

Thanks

I ordered it from a local shop in Maine, Redline Motorsports. was in a catalog and i believe the company was sporttech or somthing along those lines probly most local shops will have a bunch of various catalogs its just finding the perfect one.

I know how the Sportech chrome finished and like it a lot more then I liked the Mephis shades one. I am starting to chrome out things on my bike so I it fits real well with what i am doing to the bike.
