Well I tried searching and I really didn't find much useful about 600s. I was just wondering if there were any known major issues with the '06 RR (not F4i.. did they even make an F4i in '06?), or if there are any other years that are better than an '06 in particular. If anyone could spare the couple sentences it would take to let me know, even though this question has been asked a zillion times, i'd certainly appreciate it.

I had a 2004 f4i & yes 2006 was the last year they stopped making the f4i. I loved mine, but I recently stepped up to a 06 600rr & you can tell the difference. The riding position took some time to get use to, but I love it. It has more than enough power. If there is one thing I would recommend is getting a bike that is fuel injected. Finally its a Honda!!! You can beat the heck out of them & they will keep going. My buddy has 929rr with over 40k miles & he beats the hell out of his bike like its new & it still runs. Hondas are super reliable as long as you keep up with the maintence. You've already started on the right step by choosing to buy a Honda, so whatever you choose to buy you will be more than happy with the performance.

there aren't any huge ISSUES at all with the 2006. Some people say that the undertail exhaust gets a little toasty sometimes, and that it could use a slipper clutch.. but unless you're tracking it, i don't think you'll care. but i wouldn't say there is any huge downfall to the 600rr, it's an amazing machine! however, it works to it's fullest potential after, and only after, you throw up pictures on CBRF.com =)

I havent heard of any issues. I just liked the big differences between the 06 and 07 and opted for the newer. I know the RR seems to be more popular at track days no matter what year. Very reliable bike, I have over 27000 miles on mine and runs just as well if not better due to mods than the day i bought it

Thanks for the replies, guys. I've heard good things about the '07 as well, but this '06 I'm looking at has everything done to it already that I'd want to do to my bike.

Although this is my first Honda street bike, I've owned 3 Honda dirt bikes, so I know how awesome Honda is Pics will definitely be shown once I pick one up. Stay tuned...
