My bike and my friends were set up and mapped by the shop at the time of purchase. My buddy has a Akrapovic and I have the RS 5(both are slip on). I noticed a lag until 3g and then it starts pulling hard. His is pretty smooth right off the start. Is this normal or should I take it to a Dyno and have a custom map. Also is it just me or does DynoJet not have any maps for the 06 1000RR.

Custom map is always the best if you take it to someone who knows their stuff. I found maps for stock setup of 06 under the news banner, go back to January and February
