I have a 92 F2 and my top speed has been 160 mph with a D and D slip on and less than a half a tank. My buddy and I were coming home from a late night car/bike night. He rides a 01 GSXR and he hit 163.

Considering a 600RR stock is only good for about 154, and even with a full system and PC3USB wont break 160mph, theres no fairly stock F2 doing over a true 150. Never mind what the speedo says. Even with a full system exhaust, professionally set jet kit and cam timing making 93RWHP on a dyno mine wont do more than a GPS verified 148.

On my '94 with uni-air filter and v&h exhaust and ignition advance kit and for some reason the person i got the bike from went one up on the front sprocket(i changed it to -1) the speedo was around 155-56 and had to let off it because i guess i was missing a screw on my right fairing so the right side of my bike blew off and discentigrated. It pretty much scared the ba-jesus out of me.....the other screws on the r-fairing were still intack with small pieces of the fairing attachedha-ha ................kurt

I did 115 last night no problem. I think it would have turned 140's at least. Buddies modded 01 r6 hit 170 on his speedo.

I thought about going for more but it was 40 degrees out. So I was cold enough as it was. Shoei helmet stayed right were it was supposed to. I was impressed.

I have a k&n, jetted, and a yoshi slip-on. I have renthal sprockets and chain but I have no idea if its the stock gearing or what.

Mine isn't an 'F'anything... but I got dumb on it the other day and on an empty interstate (rare) during the day I pushed it up to just under 170. I wanted to see what the top end was. I wish I had found it because it wasn't even into the red at that point. I hope I never know how fast that bike goes.

I did 125 last night because some dude in a mustang blew by me on the freeway and i had the chse reflex, i just couldn't help myself. The bike still had plenty to go, just didn't want to risk the ticket.

According to a good source who worked on DuHamels Camel race bike in mid nineties DuHamels factory sponsored F3's ran 168 on race fuel. Thats about as fast as a normally aspirated F2/F3 will ever go.

i have a 94 f2 with a two brother slip on and a k&n filter. im 175 pounds and i hit 155 then ran out of room to keep accelerating and had to stop. everything else on the bike is stock it was pretty close to redline but i couldve gone a little faster.

I have a K&N, jet kit, and slip-on and I hit 115 with plenty before redline. I don't think an F2 could go much faster than 150 though.

Hi all,
Just signed up (and got a CBR) so thought I'd post my 2c worth,
Got my 93 F2 on Saturday had to ride it back up half the country (UK so admittedly its not very big) but its one of the few times I will be doing so much distance on the motorway so I opened it up overtaking some slower traffic and before I knew it I'd hit 120mph, not bad for a 13 year old :) (bike that is!) compared to my CBRB125 I'd upgraded from its a revelation hehe.

Not. A pre-speed limit Busa is only good for 192.
