shorter= louder too. big selling point for many. shorter is usualy tuned for abit higher rpm. It is amazing just how close in hp, most smufflers are... about 2 or 3 tops. the sound can be quite different tho... read up on exaust therory... it is truely fascinating!!!!!!!!!!!!! Clean and free, Ripp'n
