ORIGINAL: arsenal14 Thanks for the replies everyone. I have progressive now, and it quadrupled my premium to add a CBR. I quoted the RR and the F4i, they were the same, at least to Progressive. I'm still racking my brain, I'll think of something. The Harley's still fun too. change to State Farm they are cheaper than Progressive- for me. they do not attach a higher premium for RR, they only go by the CC of the bike. An 883 Harley Sportster would cost more to insure for me than my CBR 600RR- by about 100 every 6 months. I can go faster than that bike in reverse, but I'm not complaining.

ORIGINAL: arsenal14 Well, I got an insurance quote from my current company (Progressive) and the insurance premium is killer added the 600RR to the Sportster policy. I'll shop around but if it doesn't get a lot better I'll have to wait. Ugghhh Get away from progressive!! ... I had them until i checked out Allstate, Saving about 370 bucks a year by going to them.

STATE FARM is THE way to go! I got OUTRAGEOUS quotes from Allstate, Progressive (drive), Geico, Nationwide and they ranged from $2,000 to $4,000 a year. I went with State Farm (after getting the advice from this forum) and pay only $500 a year with FULL coverage! That's what I'm talking about! Good luck and welcome!
