Hey everyone, I don't have a CBR, yet, but I joined so I could search the forum and stuff. I ride a Harley 1200R Sportster which is pretty cool, but everytime I scrape the footpegs pretending I'm Nicky Hayden I wish I had a CBR too. I'll be looking around, feel free to ask me about Harleys.

Yeah I made a huge mistake today. Went to the Honda shop with a coworker who wants a Shadow and decided to sit on a 600RR...
I can afford the element, the sportster, AND the CBR right?...

Help me stop now!

Sounds like you need a little more encouragement to get a CBR. Heres a few.

----You don't have to wear Honda clothes to ride it.
----there is no chrome to polish.
----your neighbors won't think you are in the Hell's Angels.
----it is about time you owned a helmet anyway.

OK I'm just goofing with you. Welcome to the Forum. Yes you can afford them all...look at my garage.

Well, I got an insurance quote from my current company (Progressive) and the insurance premium is killer added the 600RR to the Sportster policy. I'll shop around but if it doesn't get a lot better I'll have to wait.

Welcome to the board, nothing like a good old knee draggin' cbr. I myself am looking for a cheap crappy non-running sportster I can demolish and rebuild as a board tracker circa 1920. Something along these lines.

As long a you are a motorcycle rider it doesn't matter to me what kind it is. I'm partial to Hondas and CBR's but Harley's are fine. Wish all the Harley riders were seemingly as cool as you. If the need for speed arises get the CBR, you'll have a blast.
