i have seen the opp website and im surprised the HRC air duct look more or less the same as my modified flapper/air duct!!

this is wat i have done..remove the plastic grills, remove the flapper and saw off the 2 fins in the air duct..nw my air duct has no restriction..the same idea as the HRC kit..

good to know that an idea from my trusted mechanic turns out to be something HRC made to improve performance!! save me a bomb from buying the HRC kit..well performance wise i can't say its the same thou..

can't wait for my nxt remapping and see hw it goes..

here is a pic of the opp hrc version on my bike... not quite the same size as the stock one gutted out.. have a look at the filters..

quite a bit of gains.. i did a few mods at the same time but i can give an honest opinion of 5-7hp easily up over 120mph.. you wont see much if you dont run the bike up top in 5th and 6th gear..

what a coincidence!! u're online too...well i can't say for sure hw my modified oem air duct will fare without my PC III rite nw..Bloody took 6 mths b4 i got news frm the dealership dat my unit will be back in 2 weeks...dunno who's the culprit behind the delays..dealer or powercommander..sigh!!

my PC III lasted only 2 mths..b4 it went berserk!! bought it new thou..able to downlaod maps but unable to transfer data to ecu..bike sound like harley davidson..black carbon smoke spewing everywhere..maybe exposed to water during bike washing..

BTW, for you 954 guys... We have one complete 75mm big bore 954 motor left... This is a full on HRC motor, and wont really like pump gas too much, but will make about 180hp on good fuel. If you were so inclined, $5800 will take it away. Its complete pan to valve cover.

..another option is to install the ATECH intake and install the '06 CBR1000RR Velocity stacks and swap them w/ the ones on your 04/05 Blade......that's what I'm going to do......
