I also have an F4, not a F4i... -D

They fit perfectly into the stock holes. The wire goes through one of the stock holes, and a bolt goes through the other. They come with a little flat plastic washer that fits in behind your fairing to secure them in place. VERY easy to put in, no cutting/drilling/or other modification required. They run about 50$ for a pair... as soon as I get my bike painted, I'll snap some shots and post. -D

Cool, thanks guys I'm definately going to get the hotbodies one then.. they look real good... Quick question though were they 2 wire or 3 wire lights?? Do your running lights go on when you turn on the bike still ?? Or do they only go on when u signal? And is the flash rate the same or do they flash faster now? Thanks again

Pretty much none of the aftermarket "flush mount" signals operate as running lights. It will be a two-wire system. Don't forget to install an in-line resistor or you're gonna have the ghetto hyper flashing turn signals due to the fact that LEDs don't have the resistance an actual bulb has.

Can I not wire in a relay so that they operate as a running light as well?? I think i would prefer to have them on all the time too.. for safety reasons as well I assume it is the same as automotive electrical wiring so it should work right 2 wire meaning power and ground?

I'm sure there's some way to wire in a relay so that the lights stay on until you turn the blinker on. But yes, one wire is red (power) and the other is black (ground). If I may make a suggestion, solder the wires and use heatshrink as opposed to twisting and electrical tape or the butt connectors. Not only does it look more professional, the connection will last forever.

I found a way to wire the 2wire flush mount signals so that they run with the bike and flash with the signal, for anyone that may be interested. The bike;s turn signals is a 3 wire system, one is 12V when the bike is on, one is Ground, and one is 12V when signalling. The Signal wire rests at Ground WHen the signal is off, and 12V when indicating. Therefor you can use the signal wire to the black(ground) from the new lights and 12V will go to the red or 12v wire from the new signals.. That way the lights will go on still when you turn the bike oin as running lights, and when u signal they will lose the ground and flash! And yes, definately should be soddered the heat shrink is a bonus but probably not a necessity. Electrical tape usually holds up pretty well.

Excellent find burner! I'm gonna give that a try maybe tomorrow. I've been wanting to have the lights on all the time myself but never really fooled with finding a way (I'm lazy sometimes).

no problem. i actually do automotive electrical, so i know about these short cuts to circuits. the other way is to use a relay, but that requires a lot of extra wiring, and plus in the bike behind the fairings i'm sure there is a lot of exposure to moisture and other conditions that would mess up the relay too good luck with it any problems just giveme a shout
