I just got an '03 black/red 954. It came with a high-exit Quill pipe. I'd never heard of Quill before, but I like how it sounds... I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any piece available, like an extension that would allow me to put the right rearpeg back on. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately I think that you are stuck with the Quill, no pun intended. The idea behind the high exit is for the track, and generally one does not have need for a passenger peg. If you look there is not a place to attach a second helmet either. The other thing is, do you even have the right rear set anyway? If you are hard pressed for a passenger you might need to change out the exhaust. Would still need the rear set though? Try this web site for help. http://www.jbracing.co.uk/ in reference to the quill.

I've got a devil high mount on mine and the only things that came in the kit to retain the passenger pegs was longer bolts and about 1" spacers to space the foot peg out, and a bracket that bolts to the foot peg bolts to support the muffler. you might check out someone that has a high mount that keeps the rear pegs and make your own off that. Devil, M4, Scorpion and I belive hindle all have high mounts that retain the passenger pegs. might be something to look into. post a pic of your exhaust is possibe, I would like to see it since I have never heard of it.
