does the 87 1000f hurricane
have rev limiter built in to the
cdi box never had mine rev that
high to find out

mine never seen high then 9000 rpm

All years have a rev limiter that kicks in at about 11500rpm.

When I am on a high speed country run I use the rev limiter to let me know whwn to change gears. :D
