sup fellow riddas! im about to take a 400 mile (approx round trip) weekend road trip, starting today, through the colorado mountains on my bike. im really excited. its supposed to be in the upper 80's low 90's all weekend. so it will be fun. i will post about the trip when i get back on sunday. be safe all.

hey thanks!

well im back. the road trip was awesome! the weather couldnt have been better and road conditions were great. it was actually too hot in some spots. traffic wasnt too bad. the bike performed great. average speed of the whole trip was about 80-90mph, in some short stretches of highway--100-120mph. only 2 problems i did incounter... 1. my hands got really sore and cramped. 2. my a$$ is killing me! the seat on this bike really sucks! not enough padding. i found myself always adjusting my position to try and make my a$$ feel a lil better. other than that, the ride was sweet. tons of bugs on my jacket and helmet visor, lol. oh yeah before i forget... my partner met me half way. he was ridding a 750 ninja-nice bike but not for me. anyway... in thoes short stretches of highway, we both would run the bikes almost full throttle. i got to 138mph then let off (plenty more throttle to go though!) he got right around the same as i. the funny thing is, my bike always kept up with his, almost like i could out perform his bike. a couple of times i tried to out run him, just for fun. all in all, we had a fun and safe trip.
