would the piece that connects to the header fit if they were diff. like say a stock header and the yosh mid pipe? i think thats the name of it would it give me more power?

Motorcycle exhaust systems are tuned for maximum performance. Slips ons, etc. that are made to be used with a stock header are designed that way. You don't want to mix components that are not designed to be used together.
