http://www.gear4bikes.com/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?RANDOM=NETQUOTEVAR%3ARANDOM&PAGE=SEARCH&SS=CBR1000&TB=A&PR=-1&SX=0&ACTION=Search

items 35, 36 & 37 on this page are silencers, pipe and collectors, and full system.

I like the thought of the stainless pipes so I don't have any of that ugly looking rust finish under there, even though it's hardly noticeable on the road, but I want to keep with black mufflers. Is there something I can do to the stainless mufflers to make them black or do I have to stick with the stock ones?

I think this site is based in the UK, I'm going to send them an email asking about Australian distributors but I was also wondering if there were any other stainless brands that would do just the pipes?

Motad headers follow Honda original headers, so you can put any silencers on the bike you wish as long as you can get link pipes to suit (to match silencers to the headers).

For example Motad stainless headers and carbon can co stainless silencers

Original System

Stainless Headers

Carbon Can Co Silencers

Hope that helps!

Now we are talking exhausts I have a problem...

My current mufflers are damaged due to a car driving into my bike. So I have to get some new ones and had setteled on a pair of Lazer ProStock Sports edition, but just got a call from the dealer that they don't make them any more...

I want a decent looking 4:2 system, It has to be stainless steel ore the like, so what is there on the market ???

I can see that Nexxus makes some, but what are you guy's using ??? what model is it ? and does it come to Europe ?

I hope you guy's can help on this one! I'm interested in all the info I can get, so I can purchase a good looking and good sounding pair of mufflers to my beloved Honda

Carlos, thanks for the photos and explanation. The stainless pipes look soooo much nicer than stock!

HIJACKER!!! It's ok lol

Get the cage to buy you a set of genuine replacements... then you can sell em and fit whatever you want... genuine are always inflated in price so you should be able to get a good price for them on ebay?

Rippn, thx for the tip on powdercoating... I'll look into it!

My bike is the same colour scheme as Carlos example photos... having one shiney thing looks wrong to me... it would be different if there was polished frame/swingarm/wheels/stickers/something to complement it though.
