Sorry, but I gotta jump in here - your plan to have someone take the bike with no money changing hands and for them to pay payments and for you to keep paying insurance is perhaps the dumbest idea I've ever heard. Insurance covers only those listed on the policy - if your "buyer" wrecks it it will NOT be covered the second the insurance finds out what you've done. And how on earth are you going to be sure the payments will be payed? you and you alone are responsible for the payments, there is a GREAT chance this bike will end up being repo'd - and they will probably have a hell of a time finding the bike. Payoff is $11,000?!? i'm sorry to say but you are so upside down it's not funny. Kelley blue book lists the value of you bike at $6,860, and that's with no damage in perfect condition. The only advice I could give you is under no circumstance let the bike go without paying it off or keep it.

I financed the extended 4 year warranty and gap insurance, and if you think that the bike is only worth 6,860 your crazy because look on the forum 05's are going for 7200 all day long, the bike is practically brand new with the low miles so if you think that im going to settle for 6800 then I'll keep it myself, and if there was someone who could transfer it to their own name i was going to pay the extra few grand or so to make it even if need be, but its called legal contracts and im not trying to be a dick but if your not interested then there really is no reason for you to give a response, Thanks

What are you TTT'ing for? I thought you decided to wait a couple weeks or something. Did 97 decide whether he was going to take it? If not, did you get a hold of widowmaker???

Just to let everyone know through experience this is what happened to me. Sold a 400 EX, had documents, paperwork, and notary stamp everything. Was going to let guy I used to work with pay the payments untill payed off. 94 month for 1400 bucks. He stopPed paying. I go try and get legal help. Ohio (where I live) laughed and said that paper is nothing but to wipe my ass on. WV the same (where he lives). Both states right off the bat was like, man, do you know you are commiting a crime? What? TITLE JUMPING! Big deal here if they want to be dicks about it. One person can not have a title in their name, while someone else is in possesion of vehical making payments or other means of payment. I have lost my 4 wheeler because now nobody wants to call it "stolen" legally. Basically they say I fuC#$d up. Lesson learned. Now I hold the title to a paid off 2004 Honda 400 EX, and don't have shi!. Sorry to burst anyones bubble but it will NOT WORK! The insurance problems mentioned above are correct. If someone driving your (titled in your name) bike, wrecks, and damages someones property or personal self, you WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE! PLEASE TRUST ME AND PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR A YEAR NOW!

how far are you into your loan and so you still have the bike.. How much is the pay off? Where is the bike titled and insured at? meaning what state. How much is the insurance? and How much is the actual payments.. I did the with some guy from Chicago about 2years ago.. I thoughts I was going to be f****d. But everything worked out for the best.. I paid the bike off as a matter of fact I just sold it to my best friend.. The reason why I tried this is because my credit is not good enough for a loan to buy a bike or car.. So if you can please send me some pictures the bank info etc???? Thank You...
