I would suggest you not do that anymore. When i do second gear standups, I'm usually going between 35-45 MPH. It's almost the same as a first gear sit down, as far as clutching. In first, I just slip the clutch slightly, in second gear standing up, I hold the clutch in for a split hair second longer, to get the rpms a little higher. Bike comes up enough to where you can adjust your riding point with the throttle. ie, more throttle, closer to 12, less throttle, closer to the ground, etc...
