Hello I have a 2000 f4 and I have a couple of questions about changing the sprockets on it. I had a 2001 f4i before and changed the front sprocket down one and liked the increase in torque but I didn’t like my odometer reading more km’s then actual. For the f4i you can get the speedo healer because it is a digital speedo and odometer but on the f4 it’s an analog speedo and a digital odometer. If I changed my sprockets to say one down in the front and two up in the back would my speedo and odometer be wrong on my f4 just like my f4i? Is there a way to correct the speedo and odometer on an f4? I am also looking in to a 520 conversion but it looks like it will be less trouble sticking to the same thickness on the sprockets and just changing the number of teeth.

Also what are the stock # of teeth on the f4?

Thank you

yea you were, but I only know that because I just f#@&ed my sprocket due to the back tire being misaligned and had to get all new sprockets.

wait what problems should i be looking for i just did a 520 conversion on my f4, gear it down to 15 in the front and in my manual it says the f4 has a 45 tooth stock rear sprocket and before swaping i made sure there was 45 teeth on the stock one and there was. I've already put about 1000 miles on the new chain and sprockets?

and in response to the front and rear sprocket # of teeth the european models of the 99 and 2000 f4 have 16t in the front and 44t in the rear, US models have 16t in the front and 45t in the rear
