hello all,
i hit a problem that stumped and frustrated me today. i rode by bike to my friends house today with an existing charging problem i knew i had. apparently after i ride my bike for about 30 minutes the battery drains, and it won't start back up after i shut it off.

well today when i got to his house, no one was home and when i went to go start it back up, it turned but it wouldn't start. i tried charging it with the next door neighbors charger, but still nothing. it would charge to about 80% but then would turn and maybe cough like it was going to start, but still nothing. smoke started to come out of the exhaust, so i figure i flooded the carbs? but why is the bike not starting, i tried leaving it on charge for around half an hour, but still wont start.
any help is appreciated.
