And new to motorcycles for that matter! One of my very, very good friends (practically my big brother) loves to ride and has been sort of trying to get me into it for a while. He lets me ride down the alley in first gear on his Suzuki GXR 600. We have a lot of other friends who like to ride as well.

But, today's the day I am going to get one of my own! I'm very excited. This afternoon he is taking me to the dealership to get my very own, brand spankin' new CBR600RR. I know, I know - not the ideal first bike. But I'm taking the MSF class this weekend, and I have a lot of experienced riders showing me the ropes and telling me not to try and keep up with them for at least 3 months. :)

Any advice for a very-soon-to-be CBR owner??

Hello & Welcome!!

Be careful and purchase frame sliders before you get off the lot. You will lose your footing and drop the bike. EVERYONE DOES!
