Hi everyone. Im hoping one of you f2 guys can help me. Just bought a 1994 f2 w/17,000. I noticed when the bikes in neutral and my hand off the clutch theres a grinding noise coming from the clutch or tranny area. fine any other time. I posted a thread in the general tech forum the other day and someone said its just cluch chatter and not to worry about it. Im scared to drive it, sounds like gears grinding or a seized bearing. Is this normal or does anyone have an idea of what it could be? thanks for your help

My bike does the same thing. Its only in neutral and when the clutch is off. Its not a big deal I don't think.

Thanks syphen. I just didnt know if thats normal. Though I got ripped off! Already had to order throttle cables and dont want to shell out a couple hundred on a new clutch or tranny.

it would be more the a couple hundred try about 6-7 hundred for clutch and about a thousand for the tranny once you trnas starts going trash the bike
