600RRs only come with the undertail exhaust. However, there are other RRs like the 900 and the 929 that have the side exhaust.

The under tail exhaust was only a small number of advancements they made for the RR (other than a complete change in look), it also had the Dual Stage Fuel Injection system, more aggressive rider position, redline at 15,000 rmps, Centrally located fuel tank (that's why it has a plastic shell), unit pro link suspension, Line Beam Headlight, numerous engine changes, die cast aluminum frame...well, let's just say they changed just about everything...this was the first 600cc bike of it's kind and raised the bar for other manufacturers!

Im agreeing, as much as I like to give Fret shit about his taped up old bike,. Fret is 1 of the smart guys on here and knows his stuff, theres not too many guys on here that can give a non judgemental and correct answer or a good bit of advice but Fret is certainly 1 of them......All hail King Fret.
