Does anyone yet have any experience regarding the Micron dual outlet exhaust, either slip on or full system for the 1KRR? I am getting my 06 in a few days and like the exhaust but was wondering on the sound and performance. Thanks in advance!

What do ya want to know? It sounds great, it looks great, unless you're into the "race can" look.

I don't know about the Micron, but I love my Yoshimura! Check out some pics of my Slip On here.

It's loud enough. It sounds like most other inline fours with a slip-on to me.

I really like the Micron because they kept the dual exhaust look. However, I don't like the little purple M badge that they put on the pipe. If I was to get one I'd have to find a way to take that thing off.

I looked at the Micron, but ultimately chose the Yoshi in all carbon.

Thought I saw some sort of article in the last issue of Cycle World with regards to a new exhaust for the CBRs. I htought it was a dual exhaust in carbon fiber from two brothers, but cant find the mag to re-check it. Anyone know or see what I am talking about??

Thanks Victor, You are correct! The pipe I was looking for is the Jardine RT-1 Dual Outlet in carbon fiber! Thats the one for me! Now all I need is the bike!

The Micron sounds good, it's been quite some time since I dynoed it but I think it added like 3.5 ponies to my bike. You need something else if you want obnoxiuos loud though.
