I'm just about done with my stock tires on my 05' 600RR, so I'm in the market for some good rubber. I've read up on the Pirelli Daiblo Corsas and the Michelin Pilot Powers, which both seem like excellent tires. Money is not really a problem, but I can't find any numbers on the longevity of the tire. I got about 4500 miles out of the stock tires (which held up well), and I figure about 4000 miles for a set of tires is sufficient. If you guys have any input on these tires (good/bad/ugly) or if you know of any other good alternatives that let me get a good lean and last a while, please feel free to chime in.

I have just about 8200 miles on my stocks and its time for new ones. Im gonna go with the qualifiers. Ive heard nothing but good things about them and I found a place to get them cheap. In fact they have all types of tires. If your interested, heres a link, www.MotoXoutlet.com

the corsas are not the same line as PP...corsas is mostly geared for track riding...so will not wear well.

do either diablos, pp, or qualifiers...or even the new m3s

I just bought M3's for mine and I love em. The M3's have a taller profile than the M1's I noticed a huge difference in cornering.

watch out on the PPs...word here is that in very high temps, they'll get mushy on your and slip through turns...how high of temps? well these are trackdays in BFE...like buttonwillow, big willow and streets of willow, pahrump...all WAY over 105 degree days...

Thanks for the help guys. Decided to go with the Pilot Powers....probably the best thing I've done to the bike next to frame sliders...and yes, the lean angles are ridiculous!

PS. Found them the cheapest at tireexpress.com ($235 + s/h for the pair)

i have always used 208s and the Q's but the pp beat them both. they are softer and corner even better.but you really can't go wrong with the top four tires.
