Do any of you have aftermarket exhaust on your birds? And what kind is it? And why did you pick that brand over the other?

I have two brothers on my 97, It work really well I like it because the pipe is a two piece design and the front half comes out just barely past the lower so that I can use it for open pipe drag racing and slip on the silencer for street use. It is the carbon fiber oval and gold series pipe.

I've got MIG High mounts on my 02.. and love it. They're basically just slip ons, but I like the look of the high mounts:

My 97 project bike has a Yosh 4-1 on it. Still haven't had a chance to get it on the road, but the sound is nice.

I was wondering where to find those. I've been thinking about some D&D's (fullsystem) Thanks. How much room does that trunk get you? I just ordered my undertail kit. They put it on back order unfortunately.

I put Staintune on my 98'. Great sound and also has removable baffles that really let it purr/scream. In retrospect I might gotten high mounts because they have nice look to them, unfortunately Staintune didn't make them at the time.

When my bike was stock I used the Yoshi RS3 full race 4-2-1 with the carbon fibor canister. I gained 10 HP and 13 with some tuning. I also put some DEI heat wrap on the headers, really helped on the heat. I still have them if your interested

When I had my XX I had the Two Brothers 4-2-1. That was a very nice exhaust. Unfortuately I do not think they make that one anymore.

I was just thinking of a pair of slip ons myself, was wondering which ones.

I would prefer deep sounding throaty ones, I'm not into sounding like an angry hornet!

Do they still make the MIG high exit exhaust? If so, how do I order some?

I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust. Does any one have a used 4/1 for sale?

No, they don't still make the MIG High Mounts.

Hindle makes them, but they don't show up in the catalog:  http://www.hindle.com   You can call them and they can get you a part number.
