ORIGINAL: badr1 scam central i asked about 10 different people on that site about bikes and every one of them "accidentally" had it shipped to germany or holland or somewhere but since it was their mistake they would pay to ship it to the states FREE OF CHARGE!!! cmon i mean really who the hell's that dumb? i got the same results. some guy said this for a $2800 bike: Sure, check them out. Just in case you are still interested let me explain how the process is going to work. The shipping will take from 5 up to 7 days. The bike is already in the custody of the shipping company. As soon as they will verify and process your payment they will start the delivery process. After the bike reaches its destination you will have an inspection period from 3 up to 30 days in which you can test and inspect the bike. If you aren't satisfied they will send your money back, in case you agree and want to keep the bike they will release the payment to me only after your inspection period ends. Let me know if we can proceed with the transaction. Thanks, Chuck then another guy said this for a $2300 bike: The bike has 3188 miles on it . I am the first owner and the bike is in very good condition, never involved in an accident, always kept in a garage. I am in Germany now at the World CUP and the bike is in the custody of a shipping company in Tacoma , Wa . They have a third party department and they can take care of shipping and payment. I will pay for the shipping cost . If you want to buy the bike we will make our transaction through them . Anyway, let me know if you are interested or if you need more details about the bike. Thanks. *i knew this was a scam of some kind but i still wanted to know what people thought. too good to be true.

I asked if he would ship it first, then I pay, and this is what I got. quote:
Hello , It`s 2004 Honda CBR 600rr . I can`t wait before u`ll receive the bike because i don`t have a quarantee after u`ll receive the bike u`ll send me the all amount . If you can come here in UK (London) i will give the bike in personal if you can`t the deal will be made in this matter: first of all I will send you the bike and I will give you all the necessary data for you to verify that the bike was sent. After you have verify the information I need to be sure that you agree to close the deal so you have to send me the money through Western Union (money transfer) not money order. You will send me first half of the money and after inspect the bike you`ll send me the rest of amount . Before I send the bike i need a confimation as you are sure to agree for us to close the deal and that you have the money. I want you to be serious about this because I am spending money with this shipping because i can't afford loosing this money and I will feel obligated to contact the authorities. I want the money to be send in 24h after the shipping will be made. For the shipping i prefer to use same carrier for shipping because I am pleased with their services, I have used them to bring the bike to UK , and it has arrived with no scratch because it was professionally crated. The bike will land on the closest airport to your address and then on trailer to your home and I will provide you the tracking number so you will inspect the shipment route online on their web site, being insured that the bike is coming to you. The estimated time of delivery is 8 days. I'm willing to cover the shipping fees due to my location, and you will not pay extra for it. I`ll waiting your soon reply , Thank you.

Last year I was checking out a site similar to this one (might be this one) and I got some numbers off of there and called the first one that had a remarkably low price. I was looking at the bike thinking I could buy it and turn around and sell it. Until I called up the number and it was some ticked off white guy that had his identity stolen and wasn't too happy about me asking if he had a bike for sale. Actually his response was something to this effect " NO I DON'T HAVE A MOTORCYCLE, DUNE BUGGY, 4BY4, BOAT OR ANY OF THESE THINGS!" I was kind of like in shock that these were the first and only things he said to me (or yelling at me) until I told him You don't have to be mad at me I didn't do anything to ya!

yeah man DO NOT DO IT!!! if you want it that bad tell him you are going to fly over to him and check the bike out i assure you he will dissapear you will not hear from him or his story will change tell him your going to fly to him and you'll arrange to have it shipped yourself from over there. trust me a buddy of mine got taken 2 times by a scammer las tyear he put out close to 10g's and still didn't have a bike his money was gone and due to the fact that the scammers were overseas noone could help him with retrieving his money and if you search it these scams actually are responsible for about 65% of nigerias income!!!!! their government is one of the biggest contributers to the scammers!!!!

IF someone wants you to go through western union instead of sending a moneyorder RUN. if I cant put a deposit through paypal, which has a protection plan, and requires address verification, and pay the rest in person when I go to get the bike myself, it aint happnin.

Because if he says ok i shipped it today and gives me the tracking number couldent i get in contact with the shipping company and find out if a bike is really being shipped to me becuase if he is really shipping it then the company has to crate it and then they would be able to tell me that there really is a bike coming to my house. any info would help thank you
