Is it really necessary for me to winterize my CBR 1000RR? I just bought it one month ago and live in Green Bay, WI. I rode it until last week but now the snow has come. I have it in my garage which usually does not get below 38-40 degrees in the winter.

I would at least fill the tank to the top and add some fuel stabilizer so that the tank doesnt rust..or you can drain it and coat it with motor oil inside to do the same. Put it on stands to keep the wheels off the ground and disconnect and remove the battery...I dont know if it nessecary but better be safe rather than sorry..what if it a really long winter??
