I got an o5 f4i and i was just curious if it will hang with r6's and rr's. My cuz just got a new r6 and i'm sure he's gonna try to show me up but what i want to know is will i be able to hang with him without him blowing me away or may I even be able to show him up? my bike is bone stock and so is his so i was just curious of what to expect if him or someone else with a similar bike comes up and tries to see what my bike's got.

my buddy just got an R6 and its real quick, u gotta rem. their bikes have about 20 more horsepower than us. I do not have a hard time keeping up but if we both were to lay into the throttle you could def. see a difference in power, but for the most part you should be fine.

Stock against stock your F4i will not get spanked. If your riding abilities are equal then he'll have a slight advantage in power but a bigger advantage in the curves. Fatten him up a little to get the power/weight ratio in your favor. Your bike is a helluva lot more comfortable though -- fast lasts about 2 months, comfortable lasts a looooooooong time

for the guys who dropped the tooth in the front sprocket, did you buy the 520 conversion kit with the front sprocket -1 and the rear +2 or did you just drop the front? and what do you feel is the best combination the -1 +2, or just dropping one tooth in the front?

The back hard numbers section of Motor Cyclist staes that the Honda F4i will run a quarter at 10.71@126.7 the R6 will run a 11.01@125.3 So its clear that despite the Hp difference the F4i will deffinetly spank the R6!!!! The rider will come into play but this was tested by the same rider over an average of 8 runs per bike. Beside the F4i is a better bike anyways! Thanks

when u drop one tooth in the front do you keep the stock chain too or do you have to buy a new 520 chain or something like that. I think i might just end up dropping one tooth in the front and keeping the rear stock so i'm just curious about the chain or anything else that i might have to buy. thanks for any help

if i went -1, +2 would my bike be too "buzzy" or anything like that if i'm just cruising around town or at highway speeds. I'm not worried about top end at all i just want my bike to be snappy. i want to go with the -1, +2 just because i think that's what will give me the most acceleration and that's what i want so i just want to hear what some of you have to say. Thanks for any help

Thanks for any help with just -1 in front, mine is not buzzy, but you can damn sure tell that it has been dropped a tooth, with -1 +2, it will be really snappy and you will probably have a hard time keeping the front wheel on the ground. with that set up, you will probably run about 2-3K RPM's higher when you going downt the highway. if you want to do high speed wheelies or even low speed wheelies, then the -1+2 will be perfect, but if your just going for acceleration, -1 in front should do you just fine. i have no problems doing 3rd gear stand ups on the highway with just -1 front. but it is all personal preference.....just my .02
