Don't know about "serious" gains, but most race spec camshafts are worth 5-6rwhp, mostly all at the top end (10,000+rpm). What all you need depends on what you get. For Example, Erion Racing claims their cams are drop-in replacments. They keep the same profile etc, so you don't even need to re-shim the valves. You just buy them, install them and *poof* extra zip up top. You also have: Webcams HRC Cams Tornado Cams HRC has several different versions as well... JSB, WSB, Enduro, etc... Some will require valve springs and/or ECU to raise the rev limiter high enough to benifit from the new power curve. You're gonna be looking at spending about $1000 for a set of cams... so if thats worth 5-6hp, go for it. The first thing to do would be get a Full Ti Exhaust system. A good one (~$1200) will add 10-14hp AND save 10-15lbs. Thats alot more bang for the buck.
