what exhaust do you have on it?...Which ever it is, there's probably a PCIII 'map' for it.

Hmmm, well, I could be wrong but, w/ the stock exhaust, I can't see why you'd need a PC...or if it would offer any improvement in performance...I'm sure someone more informed will reply.

With an air shifter ya definitely want a PCIII. Some of them have a kill built in others run through a PCIII. It'll also make your throttle response crisper and get rid of the factory flat spot (EPA requirement). And think of the PCIII as the foundation for anything you do down the road -- slip on, full exhaust, K&N, NOS, etc.

who make PCIII.

DynoJet Power Commander III..also known as PCIII...the make a quick shifter for the USB models, This will allow full throttle upshifts and you never have to roll off the throtle ( great for drag racing)

no offense man but it seems like you know so very little about bikes...but yet you have so many misinformed ideas and want to go fast on these ideas and inability to ride at that level...a power commander runs around $350 and i don't suggest the usb model cause the programs are different between the usb and all the other models and hardly anyone has the usb model...also the power commander will make ur bike run like shit until u upload the very precise settings for ur particular bike and riding situations and surroundings...next it costs between $2-300 to get it custom mapped...and each time u add a performance upgrade that will change the way ur bike runs and u will need to get it updated...yes a air shifter requires an air tank and if u plan on shifting more than a few times yes an air compressor...i suggest an electric shifter if ur really serious...maybe you should read more magazines first

Unless you're gonna be drag racing ya prolly don't need an air shifter. Electric is superior in that you don't run out of air but last I looked they are more expensive.
