So when the bike is in gear, there is a noticable ticking/clicking sound in the engine, the oil hasn't been changed for about 600 miles, the bike has 45k miles on it, and the ticking sound is moderately getting louder. I know that this problem is going to escalate, any ideas? maybe one of the plugs are fouled? the clicking is noticable in neutral as well. Plz hlp

It could be cam chain tensioner or ur valves may need to be redone but u better hurry and have the dealer look at it before u need a new engine or something. good luck.

Mine clicks when its cold, once warmed up the clicking is gone.

could be the Cam Chain Adjuster Lifter Assembally (CCTL)...it's a pain in the ass to change but if you're gonna do it tell me and i'll tell you the tools that actually work to get the ****er out.

ALSO, does anyone know what could be wrong w/ my bike? I hear a clicking/ticking sound when the engine gets warmed up as is at idle rpms (when i rev it up it either goes away or its too loud to hear it)...I changed the CCTL but it's still ticking....has anyone experianced this? ANY help would be greatly appriciated!!! My bike is parked till i get it fixed
