just want to share that you can reverse your shifting pattern from 1 down 5up TO 1up 5 down

all you have to do is shorten the shift rod all the way and flip the piviot bolt and then you'll have GP shifting!!!

have fun!

Cool idea, and thanks for the info; but old habits die young for this guy. I'd crash!

I knew that drag races did this but not GP riders.

that would of come in real handy around the left hand sweeper at summit point.. third gear, bike leaned all the way over and impossible to shift.. it would of been nice to stomp on that thing and take off! any pix of what you've done? that'd be cool

i ran GP shift on my GSXR for a long time. it only takes ab out two rides to get used ot it and it upshifts so much easier. have you ever missed second gear and went into neutral? this will solve your problems. it also allows you to shift gears while going around a left hand turn since your toe is no longer under the shift lever. i would never dream of doing it on my F2 though, soley due to that it being my wifes bikes and she would definately not need it. i put my GSXR back to standard shifting just because my wife rides it occasionally and i dont want to make riding a 1K any more stressful than it already it for her. ( she is a newb rider)
