http://www.spieglerusa.com/cfm/FrameSliders.cfm Just wondering if anyone has used these frame sliders or not. They're a little pricey compared to some other brands but one of my buddies has them on his ZZR 1200 and they look pretty bad ass (I don't mind the large mushroom looking end piece, doesn't matter what you haters think ). So I figured I would give them a try... Called Spiegler this morning and they're shipping them this afternoon. If all goes well I will have them installed before the 4th. I'll be sure to post some pics as soon as it's done. Any comments?

OK so I installed them last night. Cutting the plastic made me very nervous but it turned out alright. The left side is a little off-center, but fit nonetheless. Couple comments: To remove the plastics now I have to first remove the sliders. Don't like that too much but oh well. Secondly, the aluminum "pucks" get HOT AS HELL after riding for only 20 minutes! When I got home after a short ride, I was polishing the bike and touched the slider - WHOA BABY!!!! Be careful. I still like them though... a different look than the typical slider. Oh and I figured since I had all the plastic off, why not throw some mesh on there too! I just hope that hot glue works well enough.
