I posted this to the F2 forum as well, but since the directions in my manual are almost identical to the F3 instructions any tricks for the F3 would work for the F2 as well.

I'm trying to clean up the carbs, since my F2 has been sitting around unused for 4 years now....
As per the manual I've removed / loostened the:
1) throttle stop screw
2) throttle cables
3) choke cable

4)I've also loostened the LOWER clamps of the "carb insulator band" because the upper clamp screws seem impossible to get at. Should I have loostened the upper clamps?

I gave it a few solid tugs and didn't seem to get anywhere before I had to close up shop and go to work. Any tips/tricks or do I just need to quit being a sissy and pull harder?
