Hey guys, i'm new here and to sportbikes in general. For my first bike I chose to buy an 89 CBR600F1 with 42k miles on it. The bike looks great and drives very well from what i'v heard so far (test drive tomrrow) but he said that the fan stopped kicking on. Is this normal for an 89 F1? do yall think its an easy fix? he only wants $900 for it so i think its a great deal so far. what do yall think?

I have the exact bike and man I love it. The fan goes on and off with the engine temp.

i just came home with the bike (8 hour trip) this thing runs great for its age, and i really underestimated its power for an older bike! I was also real happy when i saw it had a Yoshimura pipe

Looks good Tuner :] I like the diamond swingarm I just rode home my first bike last night. (Actually, I have a bike, but it hasn't ran since I've gotten it :[ so It doesn't count as riding it home.) A '90 Hurricane. It was only a 1.5 hour drive, which is nothing compared to 8 hours. It was damn fun, wasn't it? I noticed your headlight switch is missing, I don't know how easy that is to fix, but it probably should be worked on at some point.
